2011 Football Season
Practices will be on the following days and times each week unless otherwise stated by coaches:
Tues - Thursday 6:15 - 8:00 pm
Description:
The Davidson County Recreation and Parks Department offers two age groups in our football program. Peewee Football- A child is eligible if he/she is in at least the third grade and is 8 years of age on or before August 31 of the playing year and has not advanced beyond the fourth grade and is not over 10 years of age on or before August 31 of the playing year. Peewee Football has a two year eligibility limit. Games are played at locate local booster club, county-owned, and middle school fields on Saturday's. Little League Football-A child is eligible if he/she is in at least the fifth grade and is 10 years of age on of before August 31 of the playing year and has not advanced beyond the sixth grade and is not over 12 years of age on or before August 31 of the playing year. Little League football has a 2 year eligibility limit. Games are played at the area high school fields on Saturday's. Games are played under National High School Federation rules with local exceptions. |

Registration Fee is $80.00 per player for sport sign-ups.

ALL players MUST bring a Copy of their birth certificates with them the day they are signing up.
(Do not bring originals as we have to keep the copy for our records)

FOOTBALL PHYSICAL FORM:
Certificate of Physical Examination Form
All players trying out for football are required to have a physical examination before they can start conditioning and practice. Players not having a physical will not be allowed to participate in the program.
Parents must turn in a Certificate of Physical Examination for Recreation Activities Form and Parent Permission Form found by clicking the link below along with their child's registration form.
Do NOT turn in the actual physical from the doctor.
The doctor needs only to sign the Physical Examination for Recreation Activities form.
